This conference seems more about showcasing companies for potential investors or other business reasons that merely informing. A completely uncritical look at the impact these technologies may have on societies and the world. Where are the historians? The philosophers? The family therapists? We all know what social media did to the teenage mind. How will AI impact divorce rates and infidelity? Focus on economic and entertainment implications does not go far enough.

Refrigeration, by the principle that energy is conserved should produce an equivalent amount of electricity instead of consuming electricity.
Energy sensible refrigerators that absorb heat and yield electricity would complement computers as computing consumes electricity and yields heat. Computing would be free. Chips could have energy recycling built in.
This would improve performance and lower cost.
Full heat recycling, all electric, very isolated underground, undersea, or space communities would be highly survivable with self sufficient EMP resistant LED light automated vertical farms, thaw resistant frozen food storehouses, factories, dwellings, self contained elevators, safe rooms, and horizontal transports.

It's like listening to aliens talking about alternative modes of existence here on earth. The foundation of profitable companies has always been a system of essential greed. If AI can eliminate the creeps of the world and provide mainstream people with basic living income for the sake of true living and pleasure, I'm all in.
