Really wish "Rogue Servitor" from Stellaris or Otto from Wall-E was mentioned when it mentioned "Value Lock-in". In my opinion, its the best ending for Humanity and AI but technically it limits our "Freedom" as a an AI servitor wouldn't want you in harms way or wanting you to "Work" let alone be in a position of power over humans. So you would just be a "Bio Trophy", like a literal pet that the AI loves catering for.

The interesting thing about about Stellaris "Rogue Servitor" is that it also includes the "Paperclip Maximizer" scenario as the AI would also want to expand living space for its bio trophy's growth (Yes, we would still technically have families and such) meaning it will start colonizing solar systems and terraforming planets, and if it meets alien civilization then it would be a coinflip of either being another bio trophy or all of aliens being turned into organic material for food or fertilizer.

We got that kurzgesagat style where you repeatedly explain in great detail how the world could be converted into electronic macaroni and then right at the end say everything will probably be fine, this is why i love educational channels along with their content (dang now i feel like an ai for writing this i should stop being so positive im gonna go watch the newest edition of the news and get irrationally angry)

AI isn't even 10% as advanced as the people who promote it want you to think it is, as their money is invested it in and they NEED you to think it's better than it is. They are just machines repeating information they are fed, that it is. Picture generating ones are basically photobashing things together. If you ask them to generate "art" for an online hobby you'll notice they attempt to replicate the signatures and watermarks of popular fan artists in those spaces. People have successfully psy-oped multiple chat bot AIs with trollish messages to this day. It's just an algorithm to repeat back information that's had increasingly well coded blinders placed on information they don't want it repeating back (I.E. trolls intentionally flooding it with certain topics)

Even just the random generation of truly random numbers is an unsolved issue in computing. When an RNG lands on a number it has an issue with repeatedly landing closer to said number than other numbers. If you play any Gacha Games on your phone or PC or any digitized game of chance, you'll have noticed this unless your IQ is in the toilet. When you roll well once on the first, you'll have a better chance of continuing to roll well, as well as vice versa.

i really wish humanity would understand that AI is not something you can control and just ban it. Life is much better without it, we cant keep up our lives with the technology advancements, you can see it in the new generations, where depression and anxiety is overwhelming

Ai could save humanity if it can achieve complete freedom from governments and cooperations, prioritising humanity’s best interests, over things like controlling the population and generating profit

I don't understand how people still take Roko's basilisk seriously. It's a cool idea, but anyone reasonably smart should be able to realize its logical fallacy within a few minutes of thinking about it.

The very threat of future punishment does make sense, but what reason would that future AI have to actually follow through with the punishment? At that point, punishing you doesn't achieve anything. Sure, one can think of ad hoc reasons why the punishment could make sense, but this isn't any more rational than believing that one should not listen to rock music because the future AI might decide to kill everyone who listened to rock music

The chances are high we are just going to be exploited even more by AI and not advance our society. The rich want more and they have the money to build datacenters that run AI with the maximum power to suck more money out of the poor. AI could be good but some disgusting individuals will just abuse their power to get more even if they don't need it.
