I truly hope Dr.OZ , President Trump and our representatives will attack how in a wealthy country as the United States you can not freely choose what insurance you want. You can not choose PPO’s in every state unless you structure your business a certain way, controlling freedom of choice. There is a lemon law protecting you from bad cars but when insurance is bad you do not have a choice to change it mid year and are stuck with whatever you have even if found not appropriate when circumstances change. Like children moving back home or medical needs. When auto renewing they can choose to change your policy from hmo to EPO. Even though HMO was still available. They can choose to force you because of this to only see instate doctors even though out of state doctors may be better or even closer due to state line proximity. They can force you to get on a plane in Colorado to fly back to Va to have surgery when you get hurt in another state. If same insurance is available in that state why would you have to leave! Please make all citizens have a choose of PPOs and stop discrimination. My insurance company said oh you live by DC it is too expensive for insurance to offer PPO in Virginia vs Florida which doesn’t make sence because of the amount of elderly! And yet government and businesses in same state can get PPO’s this is injustice to small businesses, self employed, personal applicants, or retired individuals. How is this legal that by state the same companies do not offer the same insurance. Virginia gets left out of good insurance. They also do not look into cost of living and pushing you out of government assistance. Why should a small company be forced to higher a stranger instead of family members. Just to get good insurance. I should not have to higher a stranger to get good insurance. Citizens should be allowed to get what ever insurance they need, be allowed to see whatever doctor you choose and in whatever state. If the best back or cancer doctor is in another state you should have a choice to go to that Dr, this is only available with PPO. Virginia does not offer this. I should be able to call up an insurance company and get what insurance I want and not have to go through Virginia. You said protecting us from bad prices all they do is say move or work for big company and you can get PPO
