What is Artificial Intelligence? [AI Explained]

Artificial Intelligence is becoming a way of life, with new systems and uses popping up everyday. From AI chatbots to machine learning, this technology has the potential to shape our future … positively or negatively. Dr. Michael Littman, with the U.S. National Science Foundation, talks about the early days of the field and how humanity has a role to play in developing the AI of the future.

I love keeping up with #NSF and AI News! Here's a burning question I have: When will most people be able to use phone calls to access ChatGPT anywhere in the world, using specific phone numbers designated for that purpose, possibly with an easy-to-remember number pattern or termination? Imagine a world where anyone with a phone, who prefers traditional communication methods, could simply pick up the phone and call ChatGPT, just like calling 911. It would be as free as email and as affordable as local low-cost phone calls, accessible in all countries where the internet and services like Airbnb are available. #Rotary_International

I'm going to give you my Definition of artificial intelligence artificial intelligence is like eating a lot of preservatives and then dying eventually artificial intelligence is like fauci pushing the vaccines artificial intelligence like breast implants eventually they're going to burst in Poison your system artificial intelligence should not be used artificial intelligence it's like buying a doll from Walmart and thinking it's going to talk but then you need your head examined artificial intelligence when it comes to God God will destroy it artificial intelligence I don't want anything artificial in my life but I will hold on to what's intelligent and that is my father God Jesus Christ

AI is a word thrown around a lot these days. It is important that the industry not misunderstood AI as automation where there is no machine learning and labor intensive & repetitive tasks are simply replaced by control systems that have been around since the last century.

I am an unabashed Michael Littman fan. Great job Michael. I loved this piece. I will spread the word at my institution in hopes that it will help to get the million views that @OnyxLee believes it deserves.

AI is dangerous when racist information ie data is used by a system to determine a result. Who will control or develop AI systems 👨🏿‍⚕️👨🏿‍⚕️👨🏿‍💻🤷🏿‍♂️
