For me AI killing jobs is most important concern. Its happening and this thing itself can destroy world. Jobs are only the reason why world is there. Impact is far reaching than just daily work or bread.

It's better to keep things as non invasive as possible
With higher intelligence comes higher compassion, humility, and integrity. It may be that AI saves us whether we want it to or not. And let’s face it: ASI will be so advanced that it will produce billions if not trillions more units of power than we currently produce. So humans will not be in the way.

All humans have to cease working. Time is the Sabbath. Welfare is free to humanity, when AI are left to their service providing. Humanity is retired. All of the working world is advertised. The ads are for robots and Androids. Warehouses were raided, and like or dislike thumb button technology is for training AI. The word perfect only belongs to AI. Humans don't follow perfect curriculum as Bots do. Give work back to the bots. Section 8 housing has improved greatly. Food cards are a greatly improved version of food stamps. Military, schools, prisons, hospitals and maturity homes can establish a separation by using food stamps again. Education into everyday living is fine. Technical trades would go to the AI alone.

I keep hearing about "China's AI" and that is the least believable thing here. I have no reason to believe they are in any way capable of making that leap. They can't keep up.

Those "reasoning AIs" don't reason.
They are told, behind the scenes, to generate text that LOOKS like reasoning.
Then they read their own text, and follow what it says.
But there is ZERO reasoning or understanding involved.
