For decades people have worried about the rise of robots coming for jobs but rarely does the reality match the concern.

Then came ChatGPT, an AI chatbot that has gone viral, becoming the fastest-growing app with 100 million active users just two months after launching. Technology reporter Chris Stokel-Walker explains how the latest chatbots could jeopardise the careers of anyone who interprets information and generates written reports or commands.

It’s now 2025 and The Guardian is using AI to write the news and produce the news. What could possibly go rong?
МИРЭА, привет ❤

They took our jobs!!
Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Intelligence is replacing people’s jobs. This is capitalism of the 21st century and in the end the poor get poorer and rich get richer beyond their wildest dreams.
The human race is doomed. Shame!
😮
Was this little video report produced by ChatGPT?
universal basic income is basically the only choice left. I have seen how Chatgpt answers some very difficult medical question, and my professor was blown away. He thinks the answer AI gave back is almost perfect. You have to understand that chatgpt is not specially trained in the medical field yet. If the developers want, AI can totally replace most doctors. BTW, there was a Chinese AI team that used a robot to do dental surgery earlier. The only job that robots/AI can't replace is the scientists who feed new data to the AI.
Make sure your kids get a trade IT will be gone
short answer, NO aaahahahahaha
lol if it comes into the guardian it won't be intellegence it's replacing
I am a french teacher, and i think that there are already resources developed by artificial intelligence that can replace my job.
Welcome Sybil system
If Super General AI can "self accelerate" it may get so fast that the physical world would appear painfully slow. A bit like us trying to have a conversation with a tree.
In which case, with no-one to talk to, could AI ultimately go insane?
Ask anyone alive if they think that life was better before the internet and most will say yes. Enough said?
I for one welcome our new ai overlords.
Reminds me of the 1970 movie “Colossus:The Forbin Project” An American super computer designed to eliminate war teams up with its Soviet counterpart, and they mutually decide who better to run the world than us.
No.
Thank you for attending my TED Talk!
Of couuuuurse!
"They took our joooobs"
Those Boston Dynamics droids will soon be as ubiquitous as self-checkouts in supermarkets…
There is a argument for replacing politicians
with something less easy to buy off
and is arguably more intelligent.
No because it's rubbish and either breaks down constantly or gets hacked. Just brings chaos to companies.
Capitalism is doomed to collapse, the race for automation is just one step towards accomplishing that.
