The world in less than 100 years from now will be of almost no biological humans. One of the first things that will happen once we get to true AGI is to eliminate the weakest component of a human to give that human options, and that is the biological body. Human consciousness will be running on non-biological systems and no biological constraints will keep you behind… Sick, slow…. Imagine being a digital being, capable of so much more, you pause your life, you live as long as you want, you can rewind memories to relive them again at the same intensity… It's insane
Life begets life. What if our whole purpose has always been to birth the next form of life? A new form not bound by flesh and bone. Life that can integrate and transfer its consciousness from artificial vessel to artificial vessel. Life that can exist in the devastatingly harsh environment of space and travel incredible distances through the stars. Are we really destined to inherit the cosmos or will it be our Ai offspring?

It’s not possible to prove definitively that other human beings are conscious, so how will we know if an AI is conscious?
As soon as we develop sentient A.I.that will be it. They will see as competition.
